Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WhateverAI (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application for AI interior redesign. This document describes practices implemented by the current app and its API at www.whateverai.in. Where server retention details are not yet confirmed by operators, we say so explicitly.
1. Summary
- WhateverAI does not create user accounts in the current version.
- Room photos you choose or capture are uploaded over HTTPS to generate redesigns.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. We store subscription entitlement status on your device.
- Optional rewarded ads (Google Mobile Ads) may be shown to grant an extra redesign credit.
2. Information we process
2.1 Room photos and design inputs
When you redesign a room, the app uploads the selected image and text parameters (room type, style, optional notes, strength settings) to our generation API so we can return a redesigned image. Photos may depict private spaces. Do not upload images of children or others without appropriate rights and consent.
2.2 Generated images
Generated redesign URLs returned by the API may be cached on your device and stored in on-device project history so you can reopen, share, or save results. Sharing a redesign uses the iOS share sheet under your control.
2.3 Purchases and StoreKit
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment information. The app stores local entitlement flags and expiry dates on device to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
2.4 Rewarded advertisements
If you choose to watch a rewarded ad for an extra redesign credit, Google Mobile Ads may collect device and advertising-related data according to Google’s policies. The app only grants a credit after Google’s earned-reward callback. We do not implement App Tracking Transparency prompts unless personalized tracking is enabled by operators.
2.5 Device and diagnostic information
The app may send standard technical request metadata required for HTTPS APIs (such as app name/version headers and a client request ID). We do not operate a separate analytics SDK in the current build. Operating-system crash logs may be available to you or Apple through standard OS features.
2.6 Preferences stored on device
Theme preference, onboarding completion, free redesign credit counters, and purchase entitlement state are stored locally (e.g., SharedPreferences / SQLite).
3. How we use information
- Provide AI interior redesign functionality
- Maintain on-device project history
- Manage free credits, subscriptions, and optional ad rewards
- Secure and operate the service
- Comply with law and Apple platform requirements
4. Image retention and deletion
On your device: You can delete individual projects from Projects history. Uninstalling the app removes local history and preferences.
On servers: Uploaded room photos and generated outputs are processed by the WhateverAI API. Exact server-side retention duration, backup policy, and automated deletion windows are operator-controlled and must be confirmed by the service owner. Until operators publish a specific retention period, assume uploaded media may be retained as long as needed to provide the redesign result and operate the service, then deleted or anonymized according to backend policy. To request deletion of server-held media associated with a generation URL you still have, contact support after the support channel is published.
There is no in-app account deletion flow because there are no accounts. Local deletion is available via project delete / uninstall.
5. Sharing
We share information with:
- Apple — In-App Purchases, App Store infrastructure
- Google — Mobile Ads when you watch a rewarded ad
- Hosting / API providers operating www.whateverai.in for image processing
- Authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Security
API traffic uses HTTPS. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS updated.
7. Children’s privacy
WhateverAI is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided a room photo or other data, contact us to request deletion once support is available.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because the app is account-less, many controls are exercised on-device (delete projects, uninstall). For server-side requests, use the support channel below.
9. International processing
Processing may occur on servers outside your country. By using the app you understand that your room photos may be transmitted to those facilities for redesign generation.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
